About the Tours

  • Tabgha Tours plans and leads Biblical trips for all ages. Our mission is to offer beautiful, spiritually rich, and affordable tours to the lands of the Bible—so as many people as possible can experience Scripture in a life-changing way.

  • Yes, our tours are designed to be accessible and enriching for travelers of all ages—families, seniors, and church groups alike. The minimum age for our tours is 6 years old. Travelers should be in good health and able to do a significant amount of walking each day. While we thoughtfully pace the trip, these are active journeys through historical and archaeological sites.

  • Our buses typically accommodate 35–55 travelers, giving us excellent volume pricing.

Group Leader Info (for Private Tours)

  • If you’re a pastor or leader bringing a private tour group, we handle all the logistics for you. Your primary tasks are sharing the word about the trip, and preparing devotional talks to share with your group. Each group is accompanied by a local Christian guide.

  • We’ll provide you with a digital info packet and graphics that you can share with church member and other interested travelers. Posting online is a great way to spread the word. We’ll provide an online sign-up link, and will communicate with you and your group every step of the way.

  • We recommend reserving a tour at least 12 months in advance. This allows us to reserve the very best hotels/resorts, and it gives you time to share the word with your travelers. Flights come available 11 months prior to the tour. We can either do a group flight booking, or we can provide flight guidance for travelers wishing to book their own flights on their airline of choice. We’re currently booking groups for 2026-28.

  • You’ll receive one free tour and a $1500 flight allowance for every 10 paid travelers. So if you bring 30 paid travelers, you’ll receive three free tours and flight allowances—perfect for a spouse, co-leader, or worship pastor. (Alternately, you can choose to receive one free tour for every 7 paid travelers, but without the flight allowance.)

  • No problem! We can combine smaller groups to keep the volume pricing. Or we can keep a smaller group size and adjust the pricing accordingly. It’s up to you!

  • The tour package includes most everything on the tour itself: first-class hotel accommodations, ground transportation, admissions, gratuities, and breakfast and supper. (Not included: daily lunches.) Airfare is separate and typically runs $800-$1500. If your group prefers, we can do a group flight booking for you.

Insurance, Safety & Cancellations

  • Yes. All travelers (up to age 84) receive post-departure travel insurance with generous coverage, including up to $140,000 in hospitalization, plus coverage for lost luggage and other emergencies. Though the insurance is focused on post-departure emergencies, it also includes up to $1000 in cancellation coverage for medical emergencies less than one month prior to departure.

  • For most tours, the cancellation policy is as follows:

    • Deposit: Non-refundable

    • 3–4 Months Prior: 25% non-refundable.

    • 1–3 Months Prior: 50% non-refundable.

    • Less than 1 Month: Tour is non-refundable. (Note: Insurance covers up to $1,000 for documented medical emergencies. Additional cancellation coverage is offered one month prior to the tour.)

    Note: Some tours (includes cruises) have slightly different cancellation timelines.

  • Our destinations are well-traveled and statistically safe. As necessary, we adapt itineraries with sites of equal value. If a tour must be canceled due to rare events that shut down incoming flights, travelers are offered a refund or a tour credit.
